(Released in the UK as Mutronics) is a 1991 American Tokusatsu film loosely based on the Manga series of the same name. The film was met with a mixed to negative reaction from critics and fans. A sequel was followed in 1994 calledGuyver: Dark Hero, which was received more favorably than it’s predecessor.

Plot

CIA agent Max Reed witnesses Dr. Tetsu Segawa—a researcher for the mysterious Chronos Corporation—being murdered. Dr. Segawa had stolen an alien device known as “the Guyver” from Chronos. College student Sean Barker, whose girlfriend’s father was Dr. Segawa, finds the Guyver’s hiding spot while watching the forensic team investigating the crime scene. Through further events, the Guyver fuses with Sean and causes him to be covered in a suit of bio-armor. The president of Chronos, Fulton Balcus (David Gale), wants the Guyver back and sends his mutant henchmen, the Zoanoids, led by Lisker (Michael Berryman), to steal it back.

Destroy All Monsters, released in Japan as Attack of the Marching Monsters(怪獣総進撃 Kaijū Sōshingeki), is a 1968 daikaiju eiga (giant monster movie). The ninth in Toho Studios’ Godzilla series, it was directed by Ishiro Honda with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya and Sadamasa Arikawa. Akira Ifukube returns after a two year absence to provide another brilliant musical score for this film, which would prove to be his last untill 1975. This was the lastGodzilla film that the creative team of Tanaka (producer), Honda (director), Tsuburaya (special effects), and Ifukube (Music), who created the originalGodzilla in 1954, worked on togeather. It is also the last Godzilla film in the Showa series to receive positive fan reaction, as the last six Godzilla films have received negative to mixed fan reaction over the years. This is the fifth film to feature Mothra, third to feature King Ghidorah, fourth to feature Rodan, and second to feature Gorosaurus, Anguirus, Kumonga, Manda, Minilla,Baragon, and Varan.
